Garmin StreetPilot III
Address Entry and Trobleshooting

October 2007 Update: It's time to junk your old Garmin SreetPilot III, even if it's still working. This slow, hard-to-use unit was just barely worth using. Mine broke down about 1 year ago, so I replaced it with a Garmin StreetPilot 330. I recommend splurging and getting something with text-to-voice, such as the StreePilot 340, at least. Prices keep dropping, so it's not worth holding on to your obsolete StreetPilot III.

I generally like my Garmin StreetPilot III GPS navigator. Unfortunately, the command entry system and error messages are poorly designed and illogical, often leading to frustration or exasperation for new users (and many old users as well). How many times have you wanted to throw the thing out the window?
